• Death in Wayne

A chilling feature length documentary produced by Lawrence Weissmann, esq. For Hubris Entertainment. Death in Wayne is a feature length documentary about suspicious death in a northern New Jersey town, and the odd circumstances that surround it. Being shot on both film and digital video, it is a breathtaking account of a heartbreaking tragedy.  (Currently Filming)

• The Infinite Monkey Sketch Comedy Movie

Bawdy, brash and relentlessly funny, this comedic juggernaut is a brash mixture of subversive comedy which hasn't been seen in America since the days of "Laugh Inn." Featuring a trio of award winning directors and a cast that includes some of New York's best sketch performers. (Currently Filming)

• MAX

Welcome to the world of Max, a misguided and often too emotional man, a sports memorabilia trader, and full blown hermit. At  the ripe old age of 31, Max finds that he wants more out of life than he ever wanted before.  As he slowly emerges from his cocoon,  he finds that he is unequipped to deal with the day to day  situations that arise.  Even worse, his support system is even more flawed than he is. So where does someone turn for help when everyone he knows is even more messed up than he is. This is a pilot for a ½ hour single camera comedy series. (Pre-production.)

• The New York City Underground Comedy Festival

A week long celebration of comedy as an art form. Catch the brightest comedy stars in the massive live event, which takes place in NYC from October 2 - 9. (Check out www.nycundergroundcomedy.com for more details.)

• One Night in Lancaster

Hubris Records, a division of Hubris Entertainment is set to release its first recording, Live in Lancaster. This is a stand up comedy concert by comedian Jim Mendrinos recorded in the heart of Amish country. ( Currently in post production.)

• Overlooking the Pond

The syndicated column gets the audio book treatment, as the suburban home-owner musings of the author clash with his hip urban upbringing. Equal parts Dave Barry and Garrison Keelor. (Currently in pre-production.)

• The Stand Up Comedy Workshop DVD

The author of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Comedy Writing," Jim Mendrinos, presents a stand-up comedy workshop on DVD. This is a master-class in the writing, performing, and business of stand-up comedy.
